The Monroe Sisters Meet-Up @ Rare ATL

 Hey Ladies (Gents). So it's the weekend of the World Natural Hair Show!! Of course the weekend is filled with meet-ups and exciting events. Thursday, I along with alot of other beautiful curlies, attended the Monroe sisters Meet-up (Meechy and MsVaugn). The Meet-Up was scheduled to be held @ Rare ATL but, ended up at a tavern next door which worked out perfectly fine. It was great meeting so many natural women. I saw so many different styles it was crazy!!

Meechy and Vaughn were beautiful as usual wearing their super cute twist-outs! They both wore dresses from Blazing Haute Designswhich I loved.

I wore I guess a semi stretched twist-out using Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. I pinned up one side to add a little something something (LOL):

It was great mingling and talking to others about which products they use and how and why they went natural.I got so many new styling ideas. I think sometimes we get set on doing 1 style that we forget there are other things to do with our very versatile hair.

The event was from 7-10pm and at 9 there was a giveaway portion(we were given raffle tickets upon arriving). Almost everyone left with something. And if you were 1 of the first 100 to register you received a gift bag as well. (I was one!! YAY! LOL). The sister's also did a favortie thing giveaway where if you answered four questions about them correctly you received a goody bag full of their favortie things. I won Meechy's goodie bag and another lady won Vaughn's. Below I have included some pictures of the event! Enjoy and I hope to see some of you at the Hair Show sunday! Natural Hair Meetups and World Natural Hair Show 2011

What's up lovelies! SO, next month is a big month in the natural hair community. Myself, being a natural hair enthusiast, I am so excited!! *yay!*. There are so many meet-ups being held a couple days before the World Natural Hair Show 2011. The hair show is April 30th-May 1st. I hope to see many of my natural haired divas there!! Because I have to work I will not be attending but one meet-up . The only one I will be attending is the Monroe sisters meet up (Meechy and TaVaughn). If you haven't checked out Meechys blog do so...it's great! The monroe sisters meet up is April 28th, hopefully I will be seeing some of my fellow bloggers there as well.
